Fënê-evêthë Bî (/ˈfënɘ/ /eˈvɘθë/ [tight; tense; firm; narrow] [arch; arc; dome]) is a subtropical Town located in the Gêngípíêpíêè Zone of the Union of Engineers.
The name Fënê-evêthë Bî is derived from the Iron Elvish language, as Fënê-evêthë Bî was founded by Tsîbè Zënkdo, who was culturaly Iron Elven.
Climate
Fënê-evêthë Bî has a yearly average temperature of 22°C (71°F), with its average temperature during the summer being a pleasant 23°C (73°F) and its average temperature during the winter being a pleasant 21°C (69°F). Fënê-evêthë Bî receives an average of 202 cm/y (79 in/y) of precipitation, most of which comes in the form of rain during the spring. Fënê-evêthë Bî covers an area of nearly 5 km2 (2 mi2), and an average elevation of 5092 m (16706 ft) above sea level.
Overview
Fënê-evêthë Bî was founded durring the early 10th century, by Tsîbè Zënkdo. The establishment of the new community went well, with no major obsticles durring construction.
Fënê-evêthë Bî was built using the conventions of Iron Elven durring the early 10th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Fënê-evêthë Bî is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature timber framed wooden shiethed or brick construction, which gives form to a very formalized, rational, expence effishent arcatectural style based on strictly symmetrical designs which universaly feature pitched roofs, shutters, and the occasional column or pilaster for a decorative touch.
Fënê-evêthë Bî is buildings are arranged arrounded highly ordered system of restrictive cobblestone streets which form hexical paterns, allowing the incides of the octagons to be common grounds for the buildings on the edges, be it for parkland, yardspace, plazas, or markets. The town posesses a mighty albit amaturly crafted stone wall. It was built using querried stone blocks and posesses all of the standard defencive features, including a few watch towers. While it would last against a siege, the wall's outdated and simplistic construction method percludes the possability of Fënê-evêthë Bî weathering a full scale bombardment durring a siege. The budget focused millitary grade defenses has suffered a visible ammount of structural damage, leaving them effectivly useless. One can't help but wonder why the has not yet effected repairs.
Fënê-evêthë Bî has a very calm atmosphere. People can be seen relaxing, scocilizing, and going about all manner of business other than the daily grind. Men, women, children, all can be seen enjoying life in a laid-back way in the many parks which line Fënê-evêthë Bî’s streets. A look around Fënê-evêthë Bî has something terribly wrong with it. It’s impossible to put one’s finger on, but something is horribly wrong. Maybe it’s the way fog blankets the ground, but only in the connors of places. Maybe it’s the vermin scutteling between shadows in the corner of your eyes. Perhaps it’s the overcast sky which seemed to creep out of nowhere, or the distant howling of wolves. Maybe it’s everything together. Regardless, you do not feel it would be wise to remain in Fënê-evêthë Bî long.

Fënê-evêthë Bî has a Gravedigger's Guild, which is responsible for collecting the dead and laying them to rest according to all applicable laws and religious customs.
Fënê-evêthë Bî has a Highwayman's Guild, which is tasked with maintaining the roads and highways leading into town as well as keeping them safe for travelers.
Fënê-evêthë Bî has a Hall of Slayers, which is tasked with maintaining the roads and highways leading into town as well as keeping them safe for travelers.
Fënê-evêthë Bî has a monistary of an order of Civil Monks, who provide divine-related services to the general public and maintain Fënê-evêthë Bî's public wards, blessings, and other arcane systems.
Fënê-evêthë Bî possesses an older civil lighting system consisting of street lamps. These lights provide nighttime illumination to most city streets.
Fënê-evêthë Bî has a Parks and Recreation Department, which is responsible for the construction, management, and usage rights for all of its parks and parklands.
Fënê-evêthë Bî has a public schooling program overseen by the Hall of Sages who has the responsibility of ensuring access to affordable high-quality education in all basic classes (Reading, Writing, Mathmatics, General Sciences, General Arcana, and Social Education) is made available to all citizens.
Cultural Notes
Fënê-evêthë Bî's garrison was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used embraces individualism and experimentation. It emerged as a movement against traditional, classical styles and sought to make buildings dynamic and fun while breaking the rules. The style incorporated elements of previous architectural styles in exaggerated and whimsical ways. Traditional, conservative leanings were void in this era, with most scholars of architecture agreeing it was a time of “anything goes.”.
Due to the actions of local Kami, spring is long in Fënê-evêthë Bî.
The Bog Strider near Fënê-evêthë Bî are known to be quite timid.
Fënê-evêthë Bî's citizens partake in a curious ritual relating to their local kami. It takes place in winter and involves gestures to channel Truename Magic energies of tier 2 via divine sermons.
Economy
The following information was obtained via the Imperial Census Bureau as part of the Eyom Economic Outreach Program. It differs from Standard Imperial censuses in that many of Tom's citizens, regardless of culture, work in more than one occupation or hold more than a single job. Whatever it is, it's such a lovely attraction that Fënê-evêthë Bî sees its fair share of tourists every year from all across Eyom. Consequently, its residents speak many languages at a functional level.
Fënê-evêthë Bî's roads were poorly made when first laid. Rather than repairing them correctly, a series of new roads was laid atop the old, leading to the streets of modern Fënê-evêthë Bî suffering from potholes, cracking, and even sinkholes. The locals often repair the road by putting down wooden decking.

In time immemorial, reportedly some time during the late 2nd century the Kami ended a famine plaguing Fënê-evêthë Bî. One of Fënê-evêthë Bî's local festivals commemorates this miracle.
